Nexsen Pruet Jumps in Listing of Largest U.S. Law Firms

Columbia, SC — Nexsen Pruet jumped nine spots in The National Law Journal’s listing of the 250 largest U.S. law firms, and is ranked No. 231 in the publication’s 29^th annual survey.

Nexsen Pruet added 18 attorneys in 2006, pushing its total number of attorneys to more than 180 and reinforcing its standing as one of the largest general service firms in the Carolinas.

“This isn’t growth for it’s own sake,” said Leighton Lord III, chairman of the board of Nexsen Pruet. ”It is strategic growth, undertaken to better serve our clients. At the end of the day, numbers are less important than skill – it just happens that we have added both this year." 

Last year, Nexsen Pruet was No. 240 in the Journal’s survey.
