Six Nexsen Pruet Paralegals Earn Certification From North Carolina State Bar March 2, 2006
Greensboro, NCĀ - Six paralegals in Nexsen Pruet Adams Kleemeier's Greensboro office have earned a new paralegal certification from the North Carolina State Bar.
The six are Patty Bondurant, Barbara Booker, Ann Cantrell, Robin Dunn, Teresa Hull, and Sharon Malburg. Each had to meet specified educational and work-experience requirements in order to qualify for the standards of certification.
"Legal assistants play a huge role in our ability to effectively and efficiently represent our clients," said Leighton Lord, board chairman of Nexsen Pruet. "These six paralegals have demonstrated that they have what it takes to bring value and skill to the firm and to the businesses we serve. I want to express our thanks for all that they do, and our congratulations for achieving certification."
The certification program was developed by the Alliance for Paralegal Professional Standards and the North Carolina State Bar. It was approved by the Bar and adopted by the North Carolina Supreme Court in July 2004, and became effective the following October.
