Nexsen Pruet Moves to The Market Common in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach    August 2008

Myrtle Beach, SC – Nexsen Pruet announced that the law firm has moved its Myrtle Beach office into a new building at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach.

Nexsen Pruet is one of the first businesses to move into the new 45,000 square foot high-tech office building, which sits on property that used to be Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. When South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford attended the ribbon cutting to the new development in April, he called it “a $600 million stake in the ground in improving the tourism infrastructure in the state.”

Nexsen Pruet’s new office will have enhanced technology and more space dedicated to the individuals, institutions and businesses the firm serves. Franklin Daniels, who leads the Myrtle Beach office, says the move makes a lot of sense, “Nexsen Pruet attorneys are dynamic and work tirelessly for our clients, so it is quite natural for us to open an office in an energetic and upscale environment like The Market Common."

Myrtle Beach Mayor John Rhodes has also praised The Market Common, saying it is “one of the most pristine developments in this state in a long time.”

Real estate lawyer Brian Kernaghan started the Nexsen Pruet office in Myrtle Beach back in 1989 and is still with the firm. The new Myrtle Beach address is: 1101 Johnson Avenue, Suite 300, Myrtle Beach, SC. The location is between Highway 17 Bypass and Highway 17 Business off Farrow Parkway.

Nexsen Pruet, LLC is one of the largest law firms in the Carolinas, with more than 170 attorneys and offices in Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Hilton Head, and Myrtle Beach, S.C., as well as Charlotte and Greensboro, N.C.
