Nexsen Pruet Attorney Named Columbia's Ambassador of the Year April 20, 2004
COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce has named Nexsen Pruet attorney, Robert D. Coble, its 2004 Ambassador of the Year. Mr. Coble practices in Nexsen Pruet's Columbia, SC office. He is also Mayor of Columbia.
"I am very honored to be named Ambassador of the Year," said Mayor Coble. "However, the progress we have made in Columbia is due to a strong team effort. And I am just one member of the team."
The Chamber's Ambassador award recognizes an individual of outstanding character who has served the community and promoted the region successfully.
Mayor Coble, affectionately known as "Mayor Bob", has been Mayor of the City of Columbia for 14 years. Throughout his legal, community and political career, Mayor Coble has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the city of Columbia, as well as the Greater Columbia region. He has worked effectively to build a positive community and business environment.
Mayor Coble practices law in Nexsen Pruet's healthcare and regulatory group. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of law.
